‘Clouds’ are a series of hot glass sculptures housing Raspberry Pi screens and displaying moving image works. By housing the screens within the glass sculptures the images are distorted and refracted within. This exaggerates the distortions of the screen in mobile devices - drawing attention to the interface. The title also references the dematerialised language around storage of users content in the so-called ‘cloud’ - in reality vast warehouses with a very definite physical and environmental footprint.
