The only festival of it's kind in the UK, I had the privilege of working with LAAF in 2008 running workshops with artist Finoon Saleh for young people. These consisted of making graphic scores to arabic music which were then turned by a group of young people into a design for 'Lamsa' (meaning 'touch' in Arabic) - the Bluecoat's Superlambanana.
